My passsion for cooking is driven by my desire to eat. And eat well. My Granny's cooking is my inspiration. Her food was simple, country, and good! It was always changing according to what was in the garden or in the woods. This also gave rise to my interest in organic heirloom gardening, bee keeping, and foraging for wild foods. I attended culinary school at Walters State Community College, and have worked at Blackberry Farm and Tomato Head where I was kitchen manager. I have operated my own catering business and just recently took over as chef at Miss Lily's Cafe in Townsend.
